Return & Refund Policy

At Alpha Centauri, we take pride in offering authentic luxury fragrances, decants, and full bottles. Please review our policy carefully before placing your order.


Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the exact same condition in which it was received, unused, unopened, with all original seals intact, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

⚠️ Opened bottles, used products, and all decants or samples are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable, due to hygiene, safety, and quality control standards.

Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.


Return Shipping Responsibility

  • If the return is due to an error made by Alpha Centauri (wrong item sent, damaged item, or defective product), we will cover the return shipping costs and provide a prepaid return label.

  • If the return is due to a change of mind, personal preference, or an ordering error made by the customer, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is the result of an error on our part.


Damages, Defects, and Wrong Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

  • Any damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

We will evaluate each case and provide a fair resolution.


Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order is marked as delivered by the carrier, Alpha Centauri is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

We will gladly assist you in filing a claim with the shipping carrier, but refunds or replacements are not guaranteed in these cases.


Fragrance Disclaimer (Important)

Fragrance perception is highly subjective and may vary based on skin chemistry, environment, and personal preference.

For this reason:

  • Returns or refunds are not accepted due to scent preference

  • We strongly recommend purchasing decants or samples before committing to a full bottle


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and non-refundable:

  • Opened or used fragrances

  • Decants and samples

  • Personal care and beauty products

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

If you are unsure about a product, please contact us before purchasing.


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only if the request is made before the order has been processed or shipped.

Once an order has been processed, packed, or shipped, it cannot be canceled.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
To receive a different item, please return the eligible product (if approved) and place a new order separately.


European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For orders shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, without justification.

To qualify:

  • The item must be unopened, unused, with all original seals intact

  • In original packaging

⚠️ Opened bottles and decants are not eligible for return, even under the EU cooling-off period.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Processing time: up to 10 business days

  • Banks and card issuers may take additional time to post the refund
